
According to the latest data from the e-budget portal, as of June 20, customs budget revenues decreased by 1.1 trillion rubles, or 70.1%, compared to last year.
The Ministry of Finance explained this by a decrease in oil and gas revenues against the backdrop of lower energy prices and lower export volumes.
At the same time, revenue from trade with the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union increased by 38%. Tariff losses lead to a budget deficit: $3.4 trillion at the end of May against a plan of $2.9 trillion.
Federal budget revenues from all foreign economic activity in 2023 decreased by 50.1% compared to the same period in 2022. In total, for almost half of 2023, 949.7 billion rubles were disbursed, or 29% of the annual forecast (3.3 trillion), according to the latest data from the Electronic Budget state portal as of June 20.
The largest source of income in this area are – customs duties. Which amounted to 486.8 billion, which is 70% less than last year, or almost 1.1 trillion. In total, according to the results of 12 months, 2.4 trillion rubles are expected. Thus, in the last six months, only 20% of the income of this plan has been fulfilled.
