The State Duma approved the connection of Russian banks to the My Export digital platform

The State Duma adopted a law that establishes the rules for connecting banks to the My Export digital platform (One Window IS). This document is another step towards creating a fully digital export support ecosystem, which is impossible without a convenient payment infrastructure.

“The adopted changes will allow creating a payment infrastructure for exporters based on modern and relevant digital technologies. This means that current users of the My Export digital platform, as well as its future clients, will be able to minimize the use of paper payment documents or even completely abandon them, as well as reduce transaction costs, ”said the CEO of the Russian Export Center (part of VEB. RF) Veronika Nikishina.

According to the bill adopted by the State Duma, from April 1, 2023, banks and other credit organizations will interact with the My Export digital platform in the manner that the Ministry of Finance of Russia will establish in agreement with the Bank of Russia.

The payment service, which is being created on the My Export digital platform, will allow exporters to pay for the services of partners accredited on the platform without leaving their seats, and partner banks to offer companies the services they need directly in their personal account. Thus, on the platform, companies will be able to issue electronic invoices, pay for services and receive confirmations of their payment. This will ensure the seamlessness of business processes when receiving any digital service that provides for payments for goods, works or services.

In addition, the bill adopted by the State Duma provides the Government of the Russian Federation with a number of powers in the framework of establishing conditions and conducting experiments in the field of providing state support for exports, state and other services in the field of foreign trade, including in terms of issuing licenses and other permits and other documents.

The digital platform “My Export” (IS “One Window”) provides online access to government and business services that accompany the export of companies. Platform services provide solutions to the main tasks at each stage of the export cycle. IS “One Window” is one of the focuses of the national project “International Cooperation and Export”, which is aimed at increasing the export of non-commodity non-energy goods.
