The authorities proposed to introduce a ban on the export of timber to the EU and the US

The government of the Russian Federation until the end of 2022 limited the export of certain types of timber from Russia. It is banned in states that have committed unfriendly actions.
The list of such countries includes Australia, Albania, Andorra, United Kingdom, including Jersey, Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, Gibraltar, Member States of the European Union, Iceland, Canada, Liechtenstein, Micronesia, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Republic of Korea , San Marino, North Macedonia, Singapore, USA, Taiwan (China), Ukraine, Montenegro, Switzerland, Japan.
The list of goods and their TN VED codes are indicated in the annex to the regulations:
