It was decided to oblige Russian exporters to sell 80% of foreign exchange earnings, the Finance Ministry said. This measure is taken against the background of the collapse of the ruble and the increase in the key rate to 20%
Based on the proposals of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and the Bank of Russia, from February 28, 2022, a decision was made to introduce for residents participating in foreign economic activity the mandatory sale of foreign currency in the amount of 80% of the revenue due to residents under all foreign trade agreements.
