The Ministry of Industry and Trade and REC will continue to help companies rebuild logistics and adapt state support tools
08.09.2022 г.

The mechanism for obtaining compensation for the transportation of products abroad has been simplified for Russian exporters, and the state will continue to adjust and simplify state support measures further. Roman Chekushov, Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Licensing in the Field of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, told about this during the round table “Export Logistics in current realities” within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum-2022 in Vladivostok.

We have completed the system of state support for exports, and online with colleagues from the Russian Export Center, we are finalizing tools for the challenges that companies are now facing. If we talk about logistics, we have promptly adjusted one of the most popular tools — state support for the transportation of products. In order to reduce the burden on business, we have changed the mechanism for obtaining state support: companies simply carry out export deliveries, bring documents to the Russian Export Center, which confirms it, confirms the costs they incurred, and up to 80% of logistics costs are refunded to them.

The participants of the round table also discussed changes in logistics chains, practical aspects of international transportation, exchanged experience in overcoming economic difficulties during the regime of restrictions, having studied the entire arsenal of relevant support measures.

Currently, the REC has 11 state support programs for exporters. The demand for this support is high. Over the last two quarters of this year, all support measures have been seriously revised, many of them have become simpler. Thus, the procedure for obtaining support measures and KPIs for obtaining state funds has been simplified, according to which, in the current conditions, exporters are completely unable to work. Companies have now received a reprieve, relief when using state support measures. And budget financing has been increased for the most popular measures — transportation of products.
