Customs confiscates misdeclared forklifts

The goods were imported into Russia from China through the Zabaikalsk checkpoint and were not declared in accordance with the established procedure. By a court decision, the wheel loaders were recognized as state property, after which customs officers organized their transfer to the military.
The employees of the Zabaikalsk customs post handed over two wheel loaders to representatives of a military unit from Khabarovsk Krai. One – to representatives of a military unit in Zabaikalsky Krai.
Earlier, the employees of the Zabaikalsk MAPP and Zabaikalsk ZHPP customs posts handed over 2 tons of equipment, power tools and consumables to military units in Zabaikalsky Krai. The goods were confiscated from foreign trade participants under Part 1 of Article 16.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
